This shop began in 2012 with an eclectic array of items for sale--paintings of all sizes, necklaces, hand painted tote bags, wands, and bracelets. I realized very quickly that the broad subject matter of my shop was not fulfilling my vision, and decided to continue to teach myself how to make jewelry in my own way while honing my style in painting, too.

I've been making guitar string jewelry for nearly five years, and it's been such a whimsical process. This facet of my hobby has led me to show my work in artistic showcases, craft shows and bazaars, and international flea markets! No two pieces are ever exactly alike, and each one tells a story. I've met some incredible people along the way. One that stands out the most is Chris Martin, creator of Martin guitars (and guitar strings, which is the brand I use exclusively)! I designed a wrap bracelet for him to give his wife for Christmas and had a wonderful time collaborating with Mr. Martin to bring his vision to life. Talk about the creative process coming full circle!

Once I entered my Roaring 20s and wedding invitiations were rolling in (what seemed like) monthly, a sweet friend approached me and asked if I'd be willing to put my painting skills to use to create something for her big day. She had seen a print of a tree in a store and thought it would be neat to have her guests sign the leaves as a fun spin on a family-tree-meets-wedding-guestbook. I was, of course, more than happy to make something that would be an everlasting relic of her wedding day, and thus guestbook trees were born. I've since made other designs for friends and acquaintances and eventually realized what an incredible addition they could be to my Etsy shop. Since adding my first three original designs, I've been striving to come up with some eclectic, fresh ideas to suit any style wedding or bride.

The best part of the experience of being an Etsy shop owner and creator has been seeing what pieces people are drawn to the most frequently. It is truly so meaningful and special to invest my time and efforts into the pieces you see, and then ship them off into the world for special occasions.
